We realize that treating acne is a process and not a one-and-done, and our pricing reflect that. Our consultation fee is applied to any treatment you receive if you move forward with our Acne Bootcamp, so you have nothing to lose...except pimples!
Yes, this is part of the program. There are too many brands in the marketplace that have pore-clogging ingredients in them. To ensure clear skin, we recommend using our products alone. Acne is tricky enough to treat – we do not want to take any chances with other potentially harmful or comedogenic products. These products are customized to each individual needs and geared for your success. It's not about "selling" our products, it's about SUCCESS!
You will be required to stop your prescription products two to four weeks before starting the program. I have found that they make the skin much too sensitive to use the system. Therefore, I generally do not recommend the use of any of them with our regimen. Quite simply, you would have to choose between our program and the prescription products that you are using.
Initial consultations are required, and homecare is required. Treatments in-house are recommended as this is the fastest and most effective way to clear. Some can clear without treatments, but most will need them. If you do not do in-house treatments (done bi-weekly), you will become a virtual client and still must do these appts every two weeks to troubleshoot and update protocols.
It’s very important to pay attention to your product management. You should advise your Acne Expert in time to replenish your item with our 2-day shipping service.
While many clients see an improvement in their skin within the first month, it usually takes about 6-8 treatments over a 3- to 4-month period to get mostly clear, depending on the type, severity, and lifestyle. Maturation Acne will take longer, as this is very stubborn acne to treat. BUT, GETTING CLEAR IS UP TO YOU AND YOUR COMMITMENT and COMPLIANCE.
After your acne is under control, you will simply need to maintain your home care products to keep it clear. Adjustments will be made at homecare, as your skin is not the same as it was on day one! Just dropping off and returning to your old skincare routine could cause a rebound. This is also the phase where you may begin treating scarring and what stubborn pigmentation is left.
